Born and raised in the beautiful landscape of North Shore, Massachusetts in 2002, Lydia's artistic journey began with a childhood immersed in the rich love of fine arts. From an early age, she discovered her passion for oil painting, printmaking, and sculpture, finding solace and expression in the boundless realms of creativity.
Transitioning to Landmark School, a renowned boarding institution specializing in education catering to dyslexia, Lydia's educational journey took a formative turn. Here, amidst an environment conducive to both academic excellence and artistic exploration, she honed her skills not only in the arts but also delved into the intricacies of engineering.
It was this multidisciplinary exposure that sparked a realization within Lydia—a desire to merge her creative instincts with a more functional approach, leading her to pivot towards a design practice that stretches to mend form and purpose.
Currently pursuing her studies in product design at Parsons School of Design, Lydia is set to graduate in May 2025, armed with a dedication to orderly design and a commitment to human-centric principles.

A natural collaborator, Lydia thrives in group settings, embracing leadership roles in collaborative projects and fostering an environment of collective creativity and shared vision. Her projects often reflect themes of human interaction and practicality, with a particular interest in designing for disability. I designed a speculative design for a classroom room catered for students with ADHD. As I was striving to create inclusive and accessible solutions that empower individuals of all abilities.
In her leisure time, Lydia finds comfort in the embrace of nature, seeking inspiration from its beauty and tranquility. Whether immersed in her creative pursuits or communing with the natural world, Lydia's journey is a testament to the transformative power of art and design in shaping a more inclusive and empathetic society.
