Lydia jackson is a product designer based in new york, New York.

Born and raised in the beautiful landscape of North Shore, Massachusetts in 2002, Lydia's artistic journey began with a childhood immersed in love of fine arts. From an early age, she discovered her passion for oil painting, printmaking, and sculpture, finding comfort and expression in the realms of creativity.

Transitioning to Landmark School, a boarding school specializing in education catering to dyslexia, Lydia's educational journey took a formative turn. Here, amidst an environment conducive to both academic excellence and artistic exploration, she honed her skills not only in the arts but also delved into the complexities of engineering.

It was this multidisciplinary exposure that sparked a realization within Lydia—a desire to merge her creative instincts with a more functional approach, leading her to pivot towards a design practice that stretches to mend form and purpose.

Currently pursuing her studies in product design at Parsons School of Design, Lydia is set to graduate in May 2025, armed with a dedication to orderly design and a commitment to human-centric principles.

As an artist, Lydia's work is characterized by its meticulous attention to detail and passion for user experience. She challenges herself to push boundaries and explore new horizons, maintaining a self-critical approach that fuels her growth and innovation.

Guided by minimalist, intuitive aesthetics, she reduces cognitive overload while maintaining clarity. Her designs encourage engagement and interaction, fostering meaningful connections between users and their environments.
